Ramy holds around 16 years of experience in Marketing, and Sales within multinational organizations operating in many fields like FMCGs, Investment Banking, and ICT. He worked as Market Development Manager for Orascom Telecom Holding, derived several investment initiatives, and designed several market entry strategies for different international regimes. In addition he managed commercial operations in European, North African, and Asian regions. Prior to joining OTH, he worked as Marketing Manager for Raya Telecom, in the transition of the Vodafone acquisition of the ISP, and managed to design and implement the Marketing operation system for the company. Prior to that Ramy handled several Marketing and Sales positions with Vodafone Egypt in Marketing, Business Planning, Campaign Management, Strategic Compliance and Solution Sales. Ramy also worked in his early career for Philip Morris, as Business Planning Manager, and for Xerox as a Marketing Researcher. Before establishing AIM – Consulting, Ramy held the position of Regional Commercial Director at OrasInvest; a multi-billion pounds BPO and a subsidiary of Orascom Telecom Holding.
Ramy’s consulting and training work focus mainly on developing practical yet strategic approaches for handling management matters operations and crystallizing synergies between different functions such as Marketing, Operations, Strategic Management, Sales, and other professional interpersonal skills development and leadership development.
In 1996 he graduated from the Faculty of Economics & Political Sciences, at Cairo University, with a major in Economics. After which he obtained his MBA from Maastricht School of Management, with focus on Marketing Management in 2002. In addition to that, he also holds a postgraduate diploma in Economics & Feasibility Studies from Cairo University.
